Leasing Agent

A Leasing Agent with Passion

I love helping people. It's the best feeling when you get to tell someone they were approved for the home they want. Part of my job is to provide information about our properties and the community to prospective residents. I am responsible for advertising our homes through a variety of media channels and promotional materials. You can find all the details of our rentals through our website. When you're ready call me, I have a flexible schedule and I even work weekends.

I went to college in Nashville for interior design, I enjoyed staging homes that were for sale or ready to lease.  However, I found what I liked most was touring the properties so I decided to get my real estate license.  I started working in new home sales but it wasn't fulfilling.  I really was obsessed with the historic homes. As a leasing agent I get to show all the different types of homes that are in Charles Town and Martinsburg.  I am currently working on getting licensed in Virginia, to accompany my West Virginia license. I can't wait to start touring Old Town Winchester and northern Virginia.

I am a local, born and raised in Jefferson County. I am currently a member of the Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors, actively participate in chamber events and volunteer in my spare time. I have one daughter who is a very busy toddler so "spare time" is a real commodity. She is my entire world and keeps me focused on what really matters.  I enjoy the outdoors - hiking, shooting, sightseeing basically anything that gets me out and enjoying all that the Eastern Panhandle has to offer.  Community and family are very important to me.

Working at Blackwell Realty has been rewarding.  It's the first time in my professional career that I can be myself.  They give me the tools I need to be successful, don't micromanage me but encourage me every step of the way.  It's incredible.  We have a sign in the office that says: "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life".  That was never true for me that is until now.
