Like many home buyers in the Eastern Panhandle and Northern Virginia, I previously resided in various urban cities and moved to the area not knowing much about it. Living here for the past five years has given me an appreciation for the simple lifestyle this location has to offer. I love calling this area “home” and helping my clients to do the same.
Growing up in the real estate industry, I was exposed to many different types of properties and all aspects of the home design and renovation process. Those experiences, combined with 15 years of working in marketing and customer service, has made for a natural continuation of my career into the real estate sector.
What originally brought me and my husband to the area was our wedding at Hillbrook Inn & Spa in Charles Town, WV. We didn’t anticipate staying, but when we were offered jobs at the inn as a husband/wife team, we jumped at the opportunity to leave our commutes behind and learn something new. Five years later, we still manage the 19-room property and truly enjoy taking care of our guests. I also have the privilege of planning weddings and other events at the inn and restaurant.
In our spare time, my husband and I have a passion for renovating homes and look forward to completing more projects in the future. I also volunteer with our church and the NICU at Winchester Medical Center, where our daughter was born in March 2017. I graduated from Northwestern University in 2006 with a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, and I have a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
